Booking & Scheduling
Q: How do I book a class?
First time clients, are required to email coastalmovement1@gmail.com to begin prior to starting Pilates. Once, approved for classes, you can reserve a spot directly through our [online booking system] (link to scheduler).
Q: Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. Classes are kept small (max 6 participants) for personalized attention, so reservations are required.
Q: What happens if only one person is signed up for a class?
If a class has only one participant registered; the instructor will notify you in advance. You will have the option to:
· Reschedule to another group class, or
· Convert your session to a private/solo class at the private session rate.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask for at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a class. We understand unforeseen circumstances arise and we will provide a one time “Get out of missed Class Waiver” once this is used, a cancellation less than 12 hours will result in a forfeit of the fee or taken from the group package.
What to Expect
Q: What should I wear?
Comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes are best. Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene (available for purchase at the studio).
Q: Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself! We provide all equipment and props. A water bottle is recommended.
Q: How early should I arrive?
Please arrive 5 minutes before your first class to meet your instructor and review safety guidelines.
Health & Safety
Q: Is Pilates safe if I have an injury or arthritis?
Yes—Pilates can be adapted for many conditions. Please inform your instructor about any injuries or medical concerns before class.
Q: Do you sanitize equipment?
Absolutely. All equipment and high-touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected after every session.

Q: Do you offer packages or memberships?
Yes! We have single-class drop-ins, and class packages to fit every schedule and budget.
Q: Can I try a class before committing?
We offer a first-time client special so you can experience Pilates before choosing a package.
